Foundation Repair Serving Round Rock & Nearby Areas
Every Round Rock neighborhood plus Brushy Creek, Georgetown, Hutto, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Leander and Taylor.
Local Soil and Permits Change From Place to Place
Two things change as you move around the Round Rock area: the ground and the permit office. I-35 follows the Balcones fault line, so neighborhoods east of it, such as Forest Creek, Teravista and Paloma Lake, sit on deep Blackland Prairie clay, while Brushy Creek, Mayfield Ranch, Cedar Park and Leander sit on thinner soil over limestone where fill and slopes cause more of the trouble. Hutto and Taylor are prairie clay through and through.
Permits follow city lines. Inside Round Rock, the city requires an engineer of record letter, a sealed plan and a final report for foundation repair. Georgetown lists foundation repair as its own permit type. MUD neighborhoods in Round Rock's extraterritorial jurisdiction, like Brushy Creek, fall outside the city's permit. Each area page below explains the local soil, the permit office and what we usually find under homes there. We also serve smaller communities between them, from Chandler Creek and Vista Oaks to Fern Bluff, Siena and Walsh Ranch. Don't see your neighborhood? Call (737) 259-6724; we likely serve it.
